Remember...
There is no charge for the program
or for the test to Conroe GED students who
attend classes and study regularly.
When can I register?
Registration is by appointment call Terry Woods at 936-709-3421.
Be prepared to take a pre- test (TABE) to enter the class.
What do I need to register?
Before making this decision be sure to speak with a counselor or principal
at your high school.
If you are :
18 or older : provide a copy of your withdrawal form
from the last high school you attended + valid Texas ID / SS card
17: provide a copy of a special withdrawal form for 17 year olds
+ permission form from parents and valid Texas ID / SS Card
(Obtain from GED office or school counselor's office)
16: provide an original court order document+ valid Texas ID / SS Card
Who Is It for? /What Is The Program Like?
This program is designed to help students who are
age 16 – 21 who have dropped out of school
or are not expected to graduate on schedule.
Test preparation classes are offered in
5 subject areas.
The GED test is available here through Region VI E.S.C. once a month.
If you are truly ready you can do IT!
There are 5 parts to the GED Test.
English Writing, Essay and Reading are given on the first day.
Mathematics, Science and Social Studies
are given on the second testing day.

On test day you must have
a current Texas Driver’s License or
a Texas Identification Card,
You must be present on both testing dates on time
which is 11:00 AM
Regular school rules as outlined in the Hauke student handbook do apply to students in this class. Including no caps, hats or hoods worn at school or in class. No cell phone use allowed. Also, this is a smoke free complex.
