This is my sixth year at Peet Jr. High School.  Most of my teaching experience has been in 7th grade language arts, although I have has some experience at the high school level as well. This year I will serve as our language arts department chair.
I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1986 with a bachelor of science degree in Education.  I am certified to teach both English and journalism.  Although I have sponsored journalism and yearbook clubs in the past, all of my classroom experience has been with language arts.  I currently serve a sponsor for Wings, a club for girls.
I truly believe that teaching is a calling and will treat each student with respect and try to help each one achieve his or her maximum potential.  It is a privilege to work with Peet's terrific students!
