Greetings Math Parents!!

Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year!  I hope you were as happy to see the new year begin as I was.  I wanted to introduce myself and touch base with everyone and let you know a few important details.  I graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler and have been teaching for eight years.  I am math certified and carry certifications in Gifted and Talented as well as Pre-AP.  I started my teaching career in Athens, Texas teaching seventh grade Math and GT Math classes.  My second year teaching I was moved to eighth grade and truly found my place.  I am passionate about eighth graders and love to watch them change and grow as the year goes by.  I have spent the rest of my teaching career teaching Pre-Algebra and Pre-AP Algebra and have loved every minute of it.  This is my second year at McCullough Junior High, and as you know, we have a great school here!  If I can be of any assistance this year, please email me or call the school and leave a message.  My email address is tgorka@conroeisd.net and the school number is 832-592-5100.
