 Monday~We'll continue our 2nd  week of frogs and toads and other amphibians.
            ~Spelling review of all lists this week.  Test of words on Friday.
            ~Math fact sheet #57
            ~Find vocabulary list #30   
            ~Please do the "Dad" Interview ASAP.  Please remember to include a picture
              with dad and child.  Unless you give me permission, I will not cut the picture,
              but instead make a copy and return it.
            ~Practice saying your speaking part with expression, speak slowly and enunciate all
              words clearly.
           



Tuesday~Sign Tues. Folder Sheet/ I urge you to encourage your child to finish any
               incomplete work or any paper with a 69% or less grade.  This could be
                the reason your child has a low grade in that subject.  Also look for any
                work attached that needs to be completed.
             ~Read 30 minutes
             ~Math Hmk. #58
             ~Review all Spelling words.
             ~Practice speaking parts!
        


Wednesday~Read 30 mins./ discuss main character and setting

             ~Review Spelling words and chunk words.

Thursday~Read 30 minutes
             ~Math Hmk. #60, sheet due
             ~White Elephant Sale on Friday
             ~Practice speaking parts for tomorrow's readings.   



Friday~ Keep reading !  On Fridays we usually do not send home the message planner.  
            
                                          
                                     
                                                               

                            *HOMEWORK IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.  Always check planner.

*READ, READ, READ! Have some discussion whether it is retelling or even parts of retelling.  i.e. Name the characters, setting, problem  of the story.  You could also stop the book before the end and predict what they think might happen to the character.  Before you start the book you could have your child predict from the cover, what they think the story is about.
