Fourth Grade

Your child should be following his/her regular teachers' schedules.  If you have a question about what is expected of your child, please contact me or your child's homeroom teacher.

Homework is sent home each Monday and is due each Friday.  Each child is expected to complete their homework and turn it in for a grade.  

I know it seems like a lot of work, but if the children spend 45 minutes to an hour each night on homework they should have plenty of time to finish.  I know how busy we get as parents -- I have found that utilizing any car travel time is a helpful way to learn during "down" times.  My own children bring their backbacks with us wherever we go (soccer, gymnastics, baseball, football games, out to eat, etc) and we work on it while we're on the go.
