Secret Share is similar to show and tell. Secret Share is on most Fridays. Occasionally we have to skip Secret Share due to our schedule. Children bring one item from home in a bag with three clues about the item. Children stand and tell their three clues and the class tries to guess what it is. The children then show the item. It is helpful to help your child with the clues and write them down at the beginning of the year. As the year progresses it is still helpful to discuss good clues the night before but you do not need to write them. The rules for the items that may be brought are: they must fit in a bag, one item at a time, preferably not breakable, and nothing that is living. |
