Homework: A new packet is sent home every Friday.
Review weeks, students will either write each word twice
or complete a special spelling project.
Homework is due the following Thursday.
Students are expected to copy the 2 special words.
Students may complete their spelling any time between Friday & Wednesday night, but it may NOT be turned in until Thursday.
Please keep it in the "Completed Homework" pocket of the PAWS binder.
Tests: Test are on Thursdays. High frequency word list test are an exception.
Grading: Spelling grades based on major, daily & homework grades. Major grades will consist mainly of tests are 50% of the overall grade. Daily grades will include dictation sentences and applied spelling in writing. They make up 45% of the overall average. Homework counts as 5% of the spelling average.
