Family
Extended Family

Chris and I have been married for 12 years. He is in commercial real estate. We enjoy going fishing (he fishes, I read), browsing through book stores, and seeing movies at the Angelika in Houston.

Step-daughter, Tiffany, 22 years old, a graduate of UTSA, with a degree in political science and international affairs. She has joined AmeriCorps. She did her training in Maryland, worked at a food bank in Gulfport, MS, and rebuilt houses in St. Bernard Parish, LA. Last summer she did a service project with some kids in Charleston, S.C. She will end her second year in November and head home. We are very proud of her!!!

I am very close to my mom. She is retired and lives in northern Arkansas.

I have one younger brother. He and his family live in a suburb of Kansas City. My niece, McKenna is in the 5th grade and Nathan is in 1st grade.

My husband, also, has a younger brother. He and his family live in Geneva, Switzerland. Cole is in 7th grade, Nina is in 3rd grade, and Sam is in 2nd grade.

Pets

Skittles (a.k.a. Little Skittle, Trouble & the Instigator) was adopted from the Montgomery County Animal Shelter last spring. She is a 1 year old, gray & black Burmese/Tabby kitten. She is Mr. Buford's cat, because she is the "sweet" one.

Skunky Funky is almost 2 years old, black & brown tabby kitten. Skunky (a.k.a. Spunky, Missy, and Skunky Monkey) loves to play with her new toys, especially feathers, take cat naps in laps, and beg for attention.

Note: The slide show was made in Macromedia Flash. If you don't see a picture of two cats, check to see if your computer plays shockwave files or if your browser is blocking active files. On Internet Explorer, click in the yellow information bar and choose "Allow Blocked Content".

This page is dedicated to everyone who had a hand in
making me who I am, especially:
Kris Bowles
1970-2008

Grammy Sinclair
1910 - 2007

Sandy King, Assistant Principal
? - 2007
I miss hearing her call me all the way down the hall, "Buford" or hearing her booming laugh.
She was not only my administrator, but a friend.

Maurice Adamson Buford (a.k.a. Reese)
My first cat! I adopted him from another teacher, who was having a baby.
He loved to give "kitty kisses" and hugs.
1989? - 2007

Grandma Adamson
1922 - 2000

Grandpa Adamson
1918 - 1999

Gramps Sinclair
1908 - 1994

Dad
1943 - 1991
My dad ignited my interest in computers. He traded our riding lawn mower for an Epson computer. He impressed me by using a drawing program to redesign our fireplace, mantle and hearth, then built and installed it himself. He, also, inspired me to teach. After several attempts at a private dental practice, he found his true calling, teaching dentistry at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry.
I love you and miss you, Dad!

Matilda Marie Adamson (a.k.a. Tilly)
My first and only dog, she was a "doodle" (dachshund & poodle mix).
We got her from the pound. She was all black with a little pink tummy.
