Here is what I would write today.

With a white plastic bucket draped across my shoulder, I headed off into the blueberry patch. My goal was to fill the large bucket with plump, juicy, fresh blueberries. You couldn't say it was a cool morning, but it wasn't hot, yet. The blueberry farmer told us to look for the white arrows, then the white flags. It didn't take long to find them. Just beyond were row after row of blueberry bushes filled with berries in various stages of ripeness. I was looking for the plump, powdery, dark colored ones. After two hours, I was exhausted. I didn't meet my goal, but I did manage to pick 3 1/2 pounds. I can't wait to make blueberry turnovers, blueberry cobbler and maybe even a blueberry pie. MMMMM!
