CISD Homework Policy

Tips for Students & Parents

1. Write your assignment on your planner daily.

2. Gather all of your supplies, before the end of class.
Put them in your backpack before switching.

3. Complete assignments in a quiet, well-lit area.
Remove distractions; ie. T.V., radios, siblings, etc...

4.Finish one assignment before starting the next.

5. Check over each assignment. Did you finish?
Did you do your best?

6. Ask a parent to check your planner and homework nightly.

7. Put homework in your PAWS binder.
Put your PAWS binder in your backpack.
Put your backpack by the door you will leave from.

8. Turn in homework as soon as you arrive in class.
