At Galatas we use the Zaner-Bloser style of cursive handwriting. Students are expected to be proficient in cursive before they leave 4th grade. As of January, I require all spelling tests to be done in cursive. As of March, I require all writing assignments to be done in cursive.

The TAKS Writing test gives students the option of printing or writing in cursive.

Homework: 2- 4 letters will be sent home per week on Friday with the spelling packet. Completed cursive is due the following Thursday. Students may complete their handwriting any time between Friday & Wednesday night, but it may NOT be turned in until Thursday. Please keep it in the "Completed Homework" pocket of the PAWS binder.
