Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich
I thought this one should have been called "Ten Four". I devoured the latest Stephanie Plum novel the first week it was out. A fun read!

Plum Lucky by Janet Evanovich
Another between-the-numbers novel about Stephanie Plum's adventures. This time she is off to Atlantic City to rescue Grandma Mazur and Doug, the horse, along with Diesel, Lula, Connie and a "leprechaun" named Snuggy.

Shopaholic Ties the Knot by Sophie Kinsella

Becky's high jinx continue. I kept wanting to scream at her just have the wedding at home and let Alicia have your date at the Plaza. However, all's well that end's well.

Shopaholic Takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella

Becky Bloomwood is still up to her shenanigans. Now a financial reporter on a local T.V. show, she is giving out advice "Look after your money and it will look after you." If only she would take her own advice.

[untitled] by Greg Buford

My brother-in-law has written a novel using his first hand knowledge of Cambodia. It is bound, but not published, so I can't elaborate on the subject matter or share the title. However, I feel it could become a screenplay for an action movie.

Lean Mean Thirteen by Janet Evanovich

I couldn't put it down. Although, I finished it over the weekend, it was not one of my favorites. I prefer when the story involves more of Joe and less Ranger. Also, I am not quite sure how the title fits the plot.

Acorna's Children: Second Wave by Anne McCaffrey

Honestly, not my favorite sequel. Of course, it ended in a cliffhanger, because #3 comes out next week. However, there was one surprise that makes the title make complete sense.

Powers That Be & Power Lines by Anne McCaffrey

I love the strong female characters in Anne McCaffrey's books, Yana Maddock is no exception. She overcomes adversity to find healing and love on Petaybee. Cats, also, play an important role on this planet.

This series has been sitting on my bookshelf for a while, but I recently discovered that the authors have continued the series with Changelings and Maelstrom.

One for the Money - Twelve Sharp by Janet Evanovich

I have Mrs. Bickley to thank for this recent addiction and diversion. She suggested that I read the first one, by #4 I was hooked. My favorites have been #4 Four to Score, #8 Hard Eight, #10 Ten Big Ones and #11 Eleven on Top. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of #13 Lean Mean Thirteen next week.

Again I am intrigued by the main character, Stephanie Plum, usually a strong female. She does things I would never dream of doing. I think the series should be made in to a movie. I would cast Sandra Bullock as Stephanie, and George Clooney as Morelli.

Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
Recommended by Jill of Jill's Used Books, after I told her how much I loved the Janet Evanovich books, it did not disappoint. Becky Bloomwood is a riot. Her predicaments reminded me of Lucille Ball. I was delighted to find out there was a series. More summer reading! :)
