Homework will be coming home inside the homework folder every Monday.  The homework will include the sight word list, books to read, and the weekly poem.  Other items such as handwriting practice and math activities may also be added.

Daily reading homework should be coming home almost everyday.  Please have your child to read the book(s) inside the bag, sign the reading log, and return the bag to school the next day.  If I do not send home a book, please have your child to read a book from home.

Reading takes practice.  The best way to help your child to improve in reading is for them to read daily.  The more that your child reads, the better they will become.  After your child reads, ask them questions to build their comprehension skills.
