Mrs.Stephenson’s Homepage jstephenson@conroeisd.net The World of Art Art I Grade 7 or 8 Through various art media and activities, students will express themselves with inventive and imaginative projects. Activities include drawing, painting, printmaking, and paper mache. Scope and Sequence Students will learn the elements and principles of art through a variety of mediums. These mediums will be used in drawings, paintings and sculptural pieces. Art textbooks, magazines and the Internet may be used as references and to reinforce instruction. Grades will be based on the projects, time involved and the difficulty of the medium. All grades will be a daily or major grade. Participation grades may also be involved depending on the project.
