A school counselor is there to listen.
As the counselor at Glen Loch Elementary, I work in partnership with
students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the community to
help students have a successful and positive school experience.
What Does A School Counselor Do?
-Works with individuals and groups
-Encourages better student relationships
-Supports students' academic progress
-Promotes positive attitudes and choices
-Maintains confidences
-Assists teachers and parents in helping students
-Lends support to school, career, and personal plans
-Assists people in making use of community resources
