Meet Mrs. Gibson Facts about Mrs. Gibson: Education: BA - degree -Southern Methodist University Advanced degree in science-North Harris College APA- degree in photography - North Harris College Experience: K-12 Thirty years in education. One year as a hospital teacher with HISD at MDAnderson Hospital, K-12. Three years in New York City:; Twenty-six years with Conroe ISD. I’ve been at Buckalew since it opened in 1998. Family: I’m married to a wonderful man, Dr. James William Gibson, who is an attorney-Mediator. We have lived in the Woodlands since 1983 when there were only 6,000 people here. I opened Lamar Elementary in Grogan’s Mill in 1973 when only the surveyors were here mapping out the roads. We have two daughters. One graduating from medical school in Salt Lake City and the other is working  on her PhD in the school of Physics at Washington University in St. Louis.
