Introduction: I am looking forward to an exciting 2007-2008 school year teaching my 8th grade students the four components of language arts: reading, writing, speaking and listening. My students were given a newsletter and nine-weeks syllabus highlighting student expectations, classroom rules, procedures, discipline, course requirements and roles and responsibilities. Please review the material and return the signed document for student records. Communication is the key as we establish an effective partnership to help our students to succeed in language arts and beyond. Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact me concerning matters relating to the education and well-being of your child. I will make every effort to include updates and pertinent information on my webpage throughout the school year.
