McCULLOUGH JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL WAS AWARDED OUTSTANDING JUNIOR HIGH BAND OF THE CONTEST AT OUR PERFORMANCE SITE!!!!

Congratulations goes to the McCullough band students as they did an OUTSTANDING job at the competitions this year. For the first time in McCullough JHS history, all five bands attended competitions, and all five groups were tremendous. Here are the results for each group:
Varsity Band: Ms. Templet, Director ¨ 1st Division on Stage ¨ They earned a trophy for their 1st division. ¨ This is the first time ever that the Varsity Band has attended a contest. GREAT JOB!! Concert Band II: Ms. Meyer, Director ¨ 1st Division on Stage ¨ 2nd Division in Sighreading ¨ They earned a UIL plaque for their 1st division on stage. Concert Band I: Ms. McClellen, Director ¨ 1st Division on Stage ¨ 2nd Division in Sightreading ¨ They earned a UIL plaque for their 1st division on stage. Symphonic Band: Ms. Templet, Director ¨ 1st Division on Stage ¨ 1st Division in Sightreading ¨ Overall Sweepstakes award for the event ¨ They earned a UIL trophy for their sweepstakes award. This is the highest award that you can earn at this contest.
