SPLASH is an organization designed to foster leadership skills in students, to provide mentoring and tutoring to students of the CHS feeder schools, and to teach service leadership through community service projects.

A Student must turn in an application signed by his/her parent or guardian and must be interviewed to be considered for the class. Attendance, grades, and discipline records are checked before placement in the class. The student and the parent must sign a pledge stating that the student will be drug and alcohol free and that any incidents involving these or other crimes will result in dismissal from the course. The class meets on the usual A/B schedule.

There are no dues. Fees for any activities members attend are determined by individual activity. Any students in good standing that can not afford to pay these costs have been allowed to attend in the past.

Service projects vary from year-to-year. A few examples are: the Midnight Bike Cruise for Montgomery County Food Bank, Special Olympics Bowling, Salvation Army Thanksgiving Meal and the Great American Smoke Out.
