You must be in Pre-AP in order to be able to take this course.  7th graders take the first part of the course and 8th graders take the second part of the course.  If you are successful in passing the class, high school foreign language will be awarded to you--you will go straight to Spanish II when you enter high school.

This is a formal Spanish class.  Basic ideas such as the alphabet, pronunciation, colors, and basic phrases will be covered in the beginning.  As students master each section, the class will cover more detailed information regarding Spanish grammar and punctuation rules.  Culture will be covered throughout the school year.

This is a very challenging class.  An 80 average must be maintained in order to stay in the course.
