The Washington Junior High Math Department is excited about the 2006-2007 school year.  Our staff is highly motivated and dedicated to help every student achieve success.  Washington Junior High offers a wide variety of Math courses to serve the diverse needs of the student body.  Each teacher uses a variety of teaching strategies including hands on math experiments with manipulatives, whole group instruction, and technology based learning activities.  Demonstrating these teaching styles help provide the rigor needed to prepare our students for the state mandated T.A.K.S. test.  7th and 8th grade students will take the T.A.K.S. test in April 2007 and the results will be a major indicator for our school report card.  By sharing a common goal of SUCCESS FOR ALL STUDENTS, parents and teachers can work together to MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!
