It is my great pleasure to serve the students and community of Booker T. Washington Jr. High. I have worked as a teacher and administrator at all levels of education from Pre-K through 12 ^th grade. Because of this experience, I understand from where students are coming as well as the dreams, goals, and challenges that await them in the future. I believe that people are life-long learners. My desire is that each student’s educational experience be one of personal growth, success, and the beginning of a lifetime of realized dreams. Inspiring students through education is a powerful tool that opens many doors.

In addition to my graduate studies in Administration, I have a Master’s in Second Language Education/ESL from the University of Houston. My undergraduate studies were completed at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. I have traveled extensively and love continuing to learn.
