As an educator, "I simply want what is best for children." My primary objective as an Educational Diagnostician is to help to build a successful and beneficial program to meet the needs of each student in order to give the child a proper foundation.
I feel that students need to be "empowered" to think independently, have a good self-image and to believe in themselves and their ability to achieve their goals. It's important to inspire children to be life long learners and to foster in them a passion for learning.
A summary of my qualifications are: I have a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Arts Degree. I have fourteen years of experience as an Educator. I taught Language Arts for five years. I was a School Counselor for five years and this is my fifth year as an Educational Diagnostician. I am certified by the Texas State Board of Educator Certification in the following areas: Educational Diagnostician, Professional Counselor and Generic Special Education.
