To launch Read for a Better Life Peet Seventh Grade Cubs were treated to a visit at the Montgomery County Library-Conroe Branch. The students were invited to tour the young adult, fiction/non-fiction, circulation and geneology areas. They also learned about plagairism and how to use the reference sections. The students were accompanied by County Commissioner Mike Meador, Jerilyn Williams, Montgomery County Library Director, Dr. Don Stockton, Superintendent of Schools, Curtis Null, Principal, Peet Junior High, and Patti Bozman, Peet Librarian. A special thanks to the Montgomery County Library staff.
Each Wednesday during homeroom, all other activies will cease. All Peet Staff, including administrators, will blend into homerooms and read to students. Please check back to see information on other Read for a Better Life activities throughout the year.
