Debby Johnson - Principal

I  am so honored to be your new principal at Ford Elementary School, a school that is well-known for its outstanding academic tradition.  I have been in education for twenty-eight years, sixteen of those as a classroom teacher.  I received my B.A. degree in Education from Fairmont State (WV) College and my M.A. degree from West Virginia University.  I completed my administrative certification at the University of Houston.  I am thrilled to return to CISD after serving for five years as principal of Porter Elementary School in New Caney ISD.  From 1996-2001, I was an assistant principal at The Woodlands High School and prior to that, I was an assistant principal in HISD. 

I am looking forward to this year at Ford Elementary, where the faculty and students are emphasizing our 2006-2007 theme, "WE BELIEVE IN EXEMPLARY... WE BELIEVE IN YOU!"

Tammy Cooney - Assistant Principal

This is my second year here at Ford Elementary.  I have been an assistant principal in Conroe ISD for the last 8 years.  I graduated from East Texas State University with a B.S. in Education, specializing in Reading and Early Childhood.  I obtained my Master's in Administration from the University of Houston.  My educational career of 25 years includes teaching kindergarten, second and fourth grades, and serving as a technology specialist and assistant principal.  I have been married to a wonderful husband for 20 years and have two children ages thirteen and sixteen.
