In third grade, we focus on behavior and being in the "E Club".  The best part about "E Club" is the "E Club" games on Friday. The class that wins the game keeps the trophy in their classroom. We hope you are a part of"E Club"!Special Thanks goes to Mrs. Braun for the Wonderful new trophy!

Tips for Success!!

**Please make sure the students are reading their books each night in order to meet their reading goals and be successful on the TAKS test.  
Favor de asegurar que su hijo/a lee sus libros cada noche para alcanzar a su meta de lectura y para tener éxito en el examen de TAKS.

** Please make sure all homework is completed each night independently by your child to ensure success.

TACKLE the TAKS NIGHT
We had a great turnout, THANKS to all the parents and family members who showed up to support our students. The kids sang a great song to top off all the information the parents learned.

Weird Science Night
Weird Science Night is coming soon to our school. We hope to see you on February 10, 2005. Join us for a night of experiments and exciting learning activities. Hope to see you then!

TACKLE THE TAKS!!
Our students are ready to take the big test and they will do wonderful. Help them with their strategies and remind them to prove their answers. Ask them everyday if they earned any tackle bucks, the more the earn the better they have done!


CAMP TAKS
Camp TAKS is a new program offered on Saturday mornings for fun and games to help your child build their reading skills.  We are looking forward to seeing many of you on Saturday morning for a great morning of learning while we play.

                Your child should be reading a chapter book a week, at least. The test is lengthy and they need to build up stamina. Remind them to read everynight. It is helpful if there is a family reading time where the TV is off and everyone is reading.  Remind them and yourself how much fun reading is!
