There are many special activities to help students at Anderson Elementary
build their character and love to read!

Family Reading Night:  Anderson students and their parents are invited to come read A.R. library books and take A. R. quizzes in the Anderson All-Star Library.  This program helps to encourage children and parents to read together and develop a love for reading.  It also allows parents to understand the Anderson’s A. R. Program.  All parents and students are invited to attend.

        Dates:  Thursday:   6:00 – 7:00 P.M.

Feb. 21, 2008 (Tuesday since Valentine's Day is on Thursday)

Book Fairs:  There are two Scholastic Book Fairs held in the Library each school year at Anderson Elementary.  Everyone is invited to come buy a book and help support our reading program and author visits.  The book fair is open daily during the Book Fair dates from
7:45 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.   There is a Family Event in the evening during each Book Fair.  Please plan to come!

RIF Program (Reading Is Fundamental):  Conroe’s Friendly Kiwanis Club sponsors this program for our Anderson students.  Three times a year, the Kiwanis Club provides a paperback book for each student at Anderson Elementary.  THANK YOU KAWANIS CLUB!  You are appreciated.
