There are many special activities to help students at Anderson Elementary
Catch All-Star Fever…
Family Reading Night: Anderson students and their parents are invited to come read A.R. library books and take A. R. quizzes in the Anderson All-Star Library. This program was designed to encourage children and parents to read together and develop a love for reading. It also allows parents to understand the Anderson’s Reading Renaissance Program. All parents and students are invited to attend.

Book Fairs: There are two Scholastic Book Fairs held in the Library each school year at Anderson Elementary. Everyone is invited to come buy a book and help support our reading program and author visits. The book fair is open daily during the Book Fair dates from
7:45 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. There is a Family Event in the evening during each Book Fair. Please plan to come!

RIF Program (Reading Is Fundamental): Conroe’s Friendly Kiwanis Club sponsors this program for our Anderson students. Three times a year, the Kiwanis Club provides a paperback book for each student at Anderson Elementary. THANK YOU KAWANIS CLUB! You are appreciated.

There are other fun events happening all school year! Some of them are the Reading Nights, Math Night, Author Visits, Texas Bluebonnet Award Book Election Celebration Party, and our All-Star A.R. Celebrations.
