Hello, my name is Andrea Smith.  I am extremely honored to be your new principal at Sue Park Broadway Elementary.  I have been in the education field for 13 years, and I cannot imagine my life outside of education.  I began my career in 1994 teaching 4th grade in the Galveston Independent School District.  I later moved to the Texas City Independent School District where I taught 3rd and 4th grades.  I also began my administrative career in Texas City.  We moved to Montgomery last year to be closer to family.  My family and I love this area, and I have had an outstanding first year at Creighton Elementary serving as their assistant principal in Conroe ISD!  My only wish is that we had made this move sooner.  My husband Corey and I have 4 wonderful boys!  Kendal and Cameron are 15, and they are twins.  Zachary is 9, and Jonah is 4.  They are all such a joy, and they keep us very busy!  In our spare time we enjoy spending time in our boat fishing and skiing on Lake Conroe.  I am looking forward to a terrific first year at Broadway Elementary.  I want you to know that I am here to serve you and your children.  I am committed to making sure your children get the best education.  I know our students will be successful because we have such an outstanding group of staff members, parents, community, and students who will be working together at Broadway.  My door is always open.  I am looking forward to a great first year!  Come see our Broadway Stars Shine!!!
