Teacher & Staff Appreciation

There are several times during the year when the parents of Kaufman Elementary students show the teachers and staff that we appreciate their dedication, caring and professionalism. The responsibility for these events is shared between the PTO, Grade Level Coordinators and Room Parents. The specific dates for these events can be found on the Calendar of Events.

Teacher Back to School Breakfast

The PTO Board sponsors a Welcome Back breakfast for the teachers during the in service days before the students return to school.

9 Week Luncheons for Staff

For the end of the first 9 weeks and the end of the third 9 weeks, the PTO arranges an Appreciation Luncheon for the staff and specials teachers. The PTO organizes and sponsors the lunch and parent volunteers are asked to provide food as necessary.

Holiday Luncheon

The PTO arranges a holiday luncheon for Kaufman staff, administrators and teachers at the end of the second nine weeks. The PTO organizes the lunch and parent volunteers are asked to provide food as necessary.

Teacher Appreciation Week

During the last month of school, the PTO provides a luncheon and gifts for Kaufman teachers, administrators and staff. This lunch serves as the fourth nine weeks appreciation lunch. Parent volunteers are asked to provide food as necessary.

9 Week Luncheons for Teachers

The Grade Level Coordinators and Room Parents work with parents to provide lunch for their teachers near the end of the first, second, and third nine weeks. Parents will be contacted by their Room Parent with ways they can help.
