Students should not move until the driver
gives the signal that it is safe to board the bus. |

If the student has to cross the road to get
on the bus, the student should stand away from the road

when boarding the bus. |
 |
Students should move quickly to their seat
and sit down quietly. |
 |
Students should put their backpack, band
instrument or any other items that they have brought on the bus in their
lap. Students may not sit on backpacks or instruments.
No items may block the aisle or any exit. (If an instrument does not
fit in the students lap, parents must transport the instrument to school). |
 |
Students should always stay seated and face
forward while riding the bus. |

rear, they can make sure that no cars are coming around the bus). |
 |
If the student has to cross the road to get
off the bus, the student should stand away from the road
10 feet or 10 giant steps,
