Observation Clipboard
Materials: clipboard with paper, pencil
Purpose: For children to observe the learning of their peers and then record/retell their observations in writing.
How It Looks: The child at this center is expected to take the clipboard around the room, quietly observing the other children, and then write down what they see happening. As children become well "trained" in this center, you may even let them venture out in the hallway and record the good learning that is going on in the other classrooms and then share their observations after centers.
