The browsing box contains books that have been read to the children or that they have previously read. In addition, the teacher places other easy books in the box that she is confident that children can read independently.
Purpose: To give children the opportunity to practice reading easy materials to increase reading fluency.
How it looks: The children will enjoy reading and rereading familiar books for pleasure and practice.
