Q. What types of Credit Cards does the my Lunch Money program accept?
A. The MLM program accepts all Visa, MasterCard and your Bank Debit/Check Cards
Q. Why is there a transaction fee?
A. The Credit Card company imposes this fee for processing the transactions.
Q. I have several children who attend different schools in C.I.S.D. Will I be charged $1.95 per child?
A. Yes. Transaction fees are based on the number of campus sites paid, not the number of children.
Q. I have more than one child who attends the same school in C.I.S.D. Will I be charged $1.95 per child?
A. No. Transaction fees are based on the number of campus sites paid, not the number of children
Q. Must I have my child’s 6 digit Student ID number?
A. Yes. Your child’s 6 digit Student ID is an essential part of the My Lunch Money enrollment process.
Q. How do I obtain my child’s 6 digit Student ID?
A. Your child is assigned a 6 digit ID in our district that will follow them throughout their CISD career.
If you don’t know what their ID number is, you may call the campus Registrar or the Cafeteria Manager.
Their 6 digit ID is also located on class schedules.
Q. If I make a payment now will it show up the same day?
A. Yes. Communication now occurs every 15 minutes. Replication now allows us to process all transactions within 15 minutes.
Q. What if I make a payment on a School Holiday?
A. No matter when a payment is made, it will show up in the account within 15 minutes provided there is nothing wrong with your Credit Card or the Students account information.
Q. How can I ensure that my child does not run out of money?
A. On the CISD main website you can click on “Parent Access” and create an account. Once logged in
you will see, at the bottom left of the screen, you child’s available lunch money (as of the previous day).
If it is getting low, click on the “here” link which will direct you to My Lunch Money.
