About Me I grew up in a small town in East Texas. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University, I moved to Houston, Texas and started my teaching career. I have been teaching for 31 years. My experience includes teaching grades 1-3, working with Reading and Math groups in grades K-5, and testing and providing instruction to dyslexic students. I have a son, Brian and a daughter Briana. We moved to the Woodlands/Conroe area 4 years ago. This is my second year in the Conroe ISD and I am excited to be teaching at Buckalew Elementary. I am anxiously looking forward to my students on Monday!!!
