Welcome to my home page. My name is Lisa Johnson and I am thrilled to be a member of the Buckalew staff. I was born and raised in Houston. I graduated with a B. S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology, and a Kindergarten endorsement from the University of Houston central campus. I began teaching in Spring Branch I.S.D. at Rummel Creek. I was there 18 years teaching kindergarten and first grade. I then went to Katy I.S.D. so that I would be in the same school district as my children. I taught second grade at Alexander Elementary for two years. In 2002 my husband, Sam, who is a financial representative moved offices to The Woodlands, so at the end of
the school year we moved into the Capstone Forest neighborhood. This will be my fourth year here at Buckalew and I feel very fortunate to work with such talented and dedicated teachers and administrators. I have 3 children; a daughter, Brittany who graduated in 2005 from TWHS and attends Montgomery College, a son, Kolin who is a junior at The Woodlands High School, and a daughter, Kyndall who is in first grade here at Buckalew. Together we will make this a fun, exciting, and successfull year for your child. |
