As I reflect on my first months at Buckalew Elementary, I am overwhelmed with good feelings! Each day I am surrounded by a friendly staff and hard working, good-natured students. In addition, the parents here are extremely supportive and involved in their children's activities at the school. I am proud of the progress that we are making both academically and socially. While teachers have planned and worked diligently to prepare for their classes, students have put a great deal of effort into their studies and extracurricular activities. Every day is a treat to work in such a nuturing and caring environment!
