I grew up in beautiful Wyoming and have since lived in Colorado,  Texas, and Washington DC.   I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in Elementary Education.  Shortly after graduating college, I moved to Washington DC for a year to work for a Wyoming senator and loved it!!!  I taught 4th grade in Katy ISD for 7 years and was an ARI tutor last year at Bush Elementary.  This is my first year at Buckalew and I'm looking forward to the year ahead!   My husband, Dan, and I got married almost 2 years ago.  He is a petroleum engineer for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in The Woodlands.  In my spare time I love to shop, exercise, travel, watch sports, and hang out with my friends and family.  I feel very fortunate to be part of the Buckalew staff and look forward to a year full of smiles and success.  I hope your child is excited for 4th grade - it's going to be a great year!!!
